Welcome to the Archduke ... a great place to meet on London's South Bank. We offer good food, sensibly priced, served by friendly staff in unusual surroundings.
The Archduke opened in 1979 and was the first restaurant and wine bar on the South Bank; 28 years later we are still privately owned and proudly independent.
In our stunningly converted railway arches we offer modern British food and world wines in a smart but informal atmosphere.
Upstairs at The Archduke is an à la carte restaurant; downstairs we serve contemporary wine bar food.
Several different areas including our Conservatory and Bridge Room are available for hire. Enjoy our free live jazz in the evenings or relax under the parasol on our terrace during the summer months.
We're a short walk from the London Eye, The Royal Festival Hall, Hayward Gallery, National Film Theatre, the National Theatre and the Imax cinema. We are ideally placed for tourists, business people or arts lovers, for lunch or dinner. And for the mornings, there's the Archduke "Big Breakfast".
We are a Wi-Fi Hot Spot which is free to our customers.
